In the fall of 2012, Alex Ketley was commissioned to create a new work for the senior students at the NYU Tisch School of Dance. He was curious about different modalities of impact in performance. From the ecstatic body to the stark and deliberate. Also in the construction of the overall work, he was interested in having the arc of the work purposely shattered into five separate performance object. He thoroughly enjoyed the students and the full project.
